Here are some sample instructions on how you can tie a tie using the classic Half Windsor knot.
Step 1: Place your tie so that the left side end "A" is longer than the side B and cross side A over the side B. |

Step 2: Next bring side B up around and behind side A. |

Step 4: Next, pull side B up and through the loop in front. |
